Faith Foundation’s Partnership with the Ministry of Health and Social Services

Faith Foundation collaborates with the Ministry of Health and Social Services to drive impactful community-based initiatives aimed at improving the lives of vulnerable youth. Through this partnership, we are actively working to address critical social issues, such as substance abuse, crime prevention, and youth empowerment.

  1. Community Outreach and Youth Rehabilitation:
Faith Foundation, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Social Services, conducts extensive community outreach programs focused on identifying and supporting out-of-school youth struggling with substance abuse and reintegration challenges. Our initiatives target those who have lost hope due to addiction, repeated offenses, and social marginalization. By providing counseling, rehabilitation services, and alternative pathways to education and employment, we aim to restore dignity, purpose, and opportunity to at-risk youth.
  2. University Student Support and Practical Training:
We play a vital role in assisting the Ministry in managing final-year students from the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) under the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Through structured internship programs and hands-on experience within our community engagement projects, these students contribute to social development efforts while gaining practical expertise in fields such as social work, psychology, and public health. This initiative not only strengthens Namibia’s future workforce but also ensures that young professionals are equipped with real-world knowledge to drive social change.

Our collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Social Services is a testament to our shared commitment to building a healthier, safer, and more inclusive society for Namibia’s youth.
